Rosetta Stone
The most recommended language learning software I believe is Rosetta Stone. There are thirty one (31) different languages which are available to learn with Rosetta Stone. The software is bought on a CD- ROM. It is very interactive and is not learned by translations but by interaction and immersion. It is appropriate for any age, which is very convenient for adults as it is more difficult to learn another language at that point in life (immersive environment). There are no translations or memorizations and is a carefully designed sequence of activities. It results in speaking another language confidently by pronouncing words correctly and building conversation skills, having fun by using puzzle solving and of course by engaging interactively. An interactive demo is also available online. Pictures are shown and the action that is being done is said in the language which is being learned. Other actions are said and you must choose the correct picture.
The following web link would lead you to the Rosetta Stone demo which I highly recommend, and also a video link which gives you more information:

Educational Software "My Baby Can Read"
Your Baby Can Read is a new and natural method that teaches infants and toddlers to recognize the shapes of letters and words, enabling them to read sooner that the average child. It is dedicated to a child’s first five years of life because the first five years of life is when language is learnt the best and easiest.
This system works by using a five set DVD which is interactive; the children see the word on the screen and hear the sound of the word at the same time, then a video of the word’s action is shown. This enables children to fully recognize the word when a flash card of the word is shown causing them to say the word while doing its action.

Educational Software "WIKIPEDIA"
Wikipedia the free encyclopedia is an educational software that is free, web based, collaborative and multilingual. It is supported by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation. The word "wiki" means "quick" as it is most siutable because of its quick and easy access. There are over 14 million articles; 3.1 of which are in English.
Wikipedia contains any needed information at the click of your finger tip with information, definitions, pictures and even other links which can give you access to more related information. Wikipedia can be accessed and edited by anyone so may not contain reliable information at all times. It is very convenient because you can be sure to find information or definitions while other websites, dictionaries or encyclopedias may not enable you to do so.
It was launched in 2001 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger and is currently the largest and most popular general reference work on the Internet. This and more information can be accessed by clicking the following link:
